My studio is located in Bella Vista, the Italian Market neighborhood of Philadelphia. Mostly I print on a Vandercook SP15 (no motor). The press has a small hand crank to distribute the ink to the rubber rollers. Depending on the project, I sometimes print on the Vandercook Proof Press No. 2, built in 1934, which requires hand inking with a brayer and has no grippers to hold the paper, but has a large press bed. I printed my copper plate etchings for my Venice tunnel books on my Graves etching press and also the linoleum cuts, that make the sides and front panels, on damp Twinrocker paper to emboss the images.
